Introduction to Webquest

Before we start reading Elie Wiesel's autobiography, it is important that we understand the historical context of his story.  This webquest aims to give you a brief yet informative understanding of the factors leading up to the Holocaust, which will provide you with the background knowledge you will need to follow Wiesel as he shares his story in Night.


Your task is to use this webquest as a resource to answer the questions in the provided handout.  All of the articles, photos, and maps are directly from The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum website. 


You will have two class periods to complete the questions on the handout.  This handout will be graded with quiz weight.  You will be assessed on the completion, accuracy, and quality of your answers.
